First off, thanks for stopping by. Really appreciate you taking a gander at my work!

Now for the introduction! I'm Scott Garnett, marketing and communications professional by day, photo-taker by night. I'm also a dog-dad, competitive curler, fan of fermented wine, and husband... speaking of being a husband, that's where this whole thing started. I've been a Calgary based, freelance photographer for the past 10+ years, but it wasn't until my own wedding that I realized what it's like to be on the other side of the aisle.

Have you noticed how difficult looking for a photographer can be? Not that there isn't a sufficient supply of us, it's just that we tend to make it overly complicated and time consuming to find all the info you're looking for.

No more "packages". No more "hourly rates". No more "set number of photos".

Ok... I lied, there is a package... but theres only 1 and I call it "all-inclusive wedding photography."

(that's it, that's all! I only do a select few weddings each year so this price allows me to fill my schedule while also providing you tremendous value. It's a win-win!)

Here's what that covers (and what sets me apart):

The Entire Wedding Day: I'll dedicate the full day to you and your wedding. Whether it's 11:00 am to 10:30 pm, or an even longer day... the day is dedicated to you and yours and I'll be there to capture those moments
Calgary and area: anywhere within 50kms or so of Calgary, I'll be there (Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks, Strathmore). If you're looking for the mountains or someplace less than 2hrs, just add $100.
No Maximum Number of Photos: I tend to shoot a lot... limiting you or myself to an arbitrary number like 200 or 300 photos does no one any favors, plus, I shoot very journalistic as I like to document emotions; facial expressions are really important to me and we end up with many similar shots.
Speedy Turnaround: I can't guarantee a specific day that I'll have ALL of your photos completed, but It's always my goal to be quick while also ensuring you get the best quality possible. I know how excited my wife and I were to get our images back so I also do something a bit different - I work the following day to get you at least 5 photos completed (you'll find that the day goes by so quickly that it's nice to have an immediate reminder)
Engagement Session: if you're located in Calgary, I always like to provide a complimentary engagement session. This provides us an opportunity to "rehearse" and become familiar with one another!
